2 killed in crash involving truck and motorcycle in Kings County, CHP says

A head-on collision between a truck and a motorcycle in Kings County has resulted in two fatalities. The incident occurred on Highway 43 near Lansing Avenue, just south of Hanford. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
  • The crash involved a truck traveling southbound on Highway 43 and a motorcycle traveling northbound with a passenger. The truck driver reportedly veered into the northbound lane, causing the head-on collision. The male motorcyclist, identified as 65-year-old Kenny Conley, was pronounced dead at the scene. The female passenger, 65-year-old Leslie Conley, sustained injuries and later died at the hospital. The truck driver was transported to the hospital with major injuries. Authorities have not yet determined if alcohol or drugs were contributing factors to the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
