Lightning strike 'most likely cause' of a Pittsburg house fire

A fire occurred in a vacant home in Pittsburg on June 8th. Fire crews responded quickly to the scene.
The incident took place around 12:30 a.m. at 408 E. Washington Avenue.
Upon arrival, fire crews found the majority of the fire located at the rear of the structure.
The home was confirmed to be vacant, and fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Investigators believe a lightning strike is the probable cause of the fire.
